What to Bring

Here are some suggestions on what to bring on your black bear hunt.  

A Blaze orange hat and vest (fall season only)

Walking boots, rubber boots, and rain gear

Warm clothing suitable to 32° F

Gloves and camouflage clothing (Polar fleece or wool, clothing that doesn't make noise)

Head net, binoculars, fishing rod and tackle

Compass and flashlight

Thermacell

Odor-free spray to eliminate the human scent

Safety belts are to be worn on all tree stands

The weather is unpredictable, you can be freezing in the tree stand or dripping with sweat.  Bring clothes for all types of weather.

The evenings tend to get a bit cooler.
